Back when I had a phone with 1 GB of RAM, my music would frequently stop playing because I ran out all the time. I would strongly recommend spending the extra $10 to get double the RAM though - having not enough RAM will seriously impact day to day usability. It's only $50-$60 if you are willing to have Amazon ads on the lock screen. If you can't wait for it, the BLU R1 HD should be fine. It has a micro SD card slot so you can add as much stuff as you want, it runs a recent version of Android (Marshmallow not quite the newest but it's new enough), and it has 2 GB of RAM so it won't be frustratingly slow to use.ĮDIT: That model appears to be sold out for the next few weeks. It is only compatible with Verizon prepaid but if you're not using it for phone/data service, only wifi as a personal media player, it's totally fine. Even though I couldn't hear him I was informed by my mom of how rude and disrespectful he was towards me instead of simply being patience with me. I was even YELLED at from a guy to MOVE OVER when I was just doing my things. Seriously people tend to view me as such and what not which makes going to the store or what not infuriating. However if I am and able to hear them on the phone I snagged one of these bad boys off of Amazon psc=1 with a 2.8" display plus it built in larger large accessibly feature it REALLY helps! Though I could never text on such devices though.:( I think this phone can do 5G? I'm with Verizon and they want to charge extra if I turn 5G on, so I haven't bothered.įirstly I use both an IP Relay online for sustained communications where I am not familiar with the person. I'd ideally like to get up to 5 years out of this phone, so we'll see.
I purchased this phone a year ago, and it's still going strong. The only things I dislike: no wireless charging (minor inconvenience), and the edge part of the phone took some getting used to. It can play games just fine, on the rare occasion I've played games on the phone. No complaints about performance (I mostly use my phone for social, social media, and Internet).
No wireless charging so I can't speak to that. It was a little over $500 when I purchased it, but it looks like it's about $400 on Amazon now: I'm currently using a Motorola Edge (regular, not plus). I know Amazon isn't great, but that tends to be where I buy my unlocked phones from.
